The Customer understands that the purpose of the heat treatment is to eliminate bed bugs by raising the temperature within the treatment area to levels lethal to bed bugs, typically between 120–140°F, for an extended period of time. Specialized equipment will be used to heat and circulate air throughout the treated space.

I, ____________________________________________ (Customer Name), agree that I am responsible for completing all required pre‑treatment preparations provided by No More Nasty Nights, LLC, including but not limited to:
Removing all heat‑sensitive items such as:
candles
aerosol cans
electronics not rated for high heat
vinyl records
medications
certain plastics
live plants
all pets
Unplugging electronics and appliances
Informing the technician of any valuable, fragile, or sensitive items requiring special handling
Ensuring all infested areas remain fully accessible, including:
furniture
closets
baseboards
storage areas
Reviewing and completing the full preparation checklist available on the company website
Following all post‑treatment guidelines provided by the technician
Allowing the treated area to air out as instructed
Avoid the immediate use of furniture or items exposed to high heat until cleared by the technician
Avoid situations that may re-infest premises
Customer acknowledges that failure to complete required preparations may reduce treatment effectiveness and may result in additional charges.
Customer understands and agrees that:
Heat treatment is highly effective but no pest control method can guarantee 100% elimination of bed bugs in a single visit.
Re‑infestation can occur if bed bugs are reintroduced after treatment.
Certain structural features, clutter, or inaccessible areas may limit heat penetration.
Items left in sealed containers, deep crevices, or insulated spaces may not reach lethal temperatures.
Follow‑up inspections or treatments may be recommended depending on the infestation severity.
Customer acknowledges that heat treatment involves elevated temperatures that may affect personal property, structural materials, and building systems. By signing this Agreement, Customer understands and accepts the following risks and responsibilities:
Electronics & Heat‑Sensitive Items
Electronics, appliances, and other heat‑sensitive items may malfunction, warp, melt, or become damaged if not removed before treatment.
Sprinkler System Activation
High temperatures may activate fire‑suppression or sprinkler systems. Customer agrees to notify the technician of any active sprinkler systems or fire‑suppression equipment before treatment begins.
Structural or Material Damage
Elevated temperatures may cause:
warping of furniture or flooring
peeling or bubbling paint
loosening of adhesives or glue‑based materials
damage to items not designed to withstand high heat
Customer agrees that No More Nasty Nights, LLC shall not be held liable for any damage, malfunction, loss, or replacement costs resulting from the heat treatment process, including but not limited to the risks listed above.
Customer accepts full responsibility for preparing the home or business according to the provided preparation checklist and acknowledges that failure to do so may increase the risk of damage or reduce treatment effectiveness.
Customer agrees to provide full access to the property at the scheduled time. Failure to do so will result in cancellation fees or rescheduling charges.
Payment is due in full at the start of the heating process.
Deposits are non‑refundable if not canceled 7 days prior
Additional charges may apply for:
excessive clutter
incomplete preparation
additional rooms or areas not disclosed
follow‑up treatments if needed
Customer acknowledges that:
No persons, pets, or live plants may remain inside the structure during treatment. This includes fish.
Re‑entry is only permitted once the technician confirms it is safe.
Customer must follow all safety instructions provided before, during, and after treatment.
By signing below, Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms of this Heat Treatment Service Agreement.
